DULIAJAN MAHAVIDYALAYA SAKHA SAHITYA SABHA

The Duliajan Mahavidyalaya Sakha Sahitya Sabha is an active branch of the Assam Sahitya Sabha, dedicated to promoting Assamese literature, language, culture at the grassroot level. Located in Duliajan college, Duliajan, Assam, this branch functions with the same mission of its parent organization striving to preserve and nurture the rich literary heritage of the region with special focus on engaging and uplifting the students and teachers of Duliajan College. This branch organizes a wide range of literary activities including poetry recitation, debates, essay, and cultural discussion specifically designed to encourage participation from the college community. Moreover, this branch organizes a programme called “Abhibyanjana”, in every three months to educate the younger generation about the significance of their literary heritage, linguistic and cultural identity. The Duliajan Mahavidyalaya Sakha Sahitya Sabha ensures that the rich traditions of Assam continue to be celebrated and passed down to future generation and also to ensure the engagement of the students in literary works and develop their creativity.
