About the society
The North-East Forum of Green Studies; an initiative of the Department of English, Duliajan College is a platform dedicated to fostering discussions, knowledge sharing/ documentation, and collaboration in the field of green studies. The forum will serve as a vibrant community where individuals passionate about the environment can connect, exchange ideas, and contribute to the pursuit of sustainable solutions with ‘Econativistic’ approach. The North-East India Forum of Green Studies believes thatn addressing environmental challenges requires a multidisciplinary approach in today’s world. This forum, the first of its kind, in the academic community of North-East India will bring together academicians, researchers as well as students across schools, colleges and universities, along with environmental enthusiasts from various backgrounds to engage in meaningful conversations that transcend traditional boundaries.
The forum is a space for open dialogue, critical thinking, and the exploration of innovative ideas that can drive positive change. Any individual who is an expert in environmental science, or a student eager to learn, or someone interested in environmental issues, this platform offers a wealth of resources and opportunities to expand knowledge and network in the field of environmental studies.
