About the society
With the aim of promoting awareness towards conservation and sustainability of Environment among the students, an ECO Club was established by Duliajan College under the guidance of the Principal of Duliajan College, Dr Lok Bikash Gogoi in 2024. Miss Tinamoni Hazarika, Assistant Professor in the Department of Botany, Duliajan College is the founder Convener of the Club. The objective of this club is to assemble a voluntary group of students from all the three streams of the college to educate them about their immediate environment and its conservation by active participation through hands on plantation, cleaning and nurturing green consciousness programs and pass on the same to future generations.
The Club consisted of a Convener who is the Teacher-in-charge, a committee of students with the post of President, Vice-President, Secretary, Assistant Secretary and Treasurer and student members.
