Pixel Perspectives: Photography and Videography Club

To elevate the creative landscape of Duliajan College, the administration introduced a range of specialized clubs in 2023. Among these, the ‘Photography and Videography Club’, named ‘Pixel Perspectives’ was established in 2024, with Mr. Gaurab Sengupta, Assistant Professor in the Department of English, as the inaugural convener. The club’s vision is to capture and curate the visual narratives, honing members’ skills in both the technical and artistic aspects of photography and videography. The club seeks to offer a platform for students to explore the intricacies of framing, composition, lighting and post-production, encouraging them to experiment with various styles and techniques. Members are to actively participate in photography, organize photo walks and workshops, thereby enriching their portfolios and contributing to the college’s visual culture and also inculcate photography and videography skills along with learning skills of graphic designing. Additionally, a dynamic team of student coordinators has emerged, each bringing a unique perspective to the club’s collaborative and creative endeavors.
