OUR SERVICES

REFERENCE SERVICE

All the printed and electronic information resources are well organized in the library. Library staff available in the circulation desk provides utmost help and assistance in locating documents as and when needed.

Users are guided to search the availability of documents through OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue).

QUESTION BANK

Previous years question papers has been systematically organized by the library. These are circulated in daily issue basis. This question bank includes question papers in all subjects that are science, arts and comers.

BOOK BANK

There is a Book Bank in the library which is meant for economically backward students. The library contains sufficient number of books which issued for one semester against a regular student. The rules using for Book Bank are follows:

  • Economically poor students may apply for the books at very beginning of academic session of the year.
  • The books will be issued for one semester and every student should bear an amount of Rs.20.00 (twenty) per book.
  • A student should prove himself as he/she is economically poor.
  • The book must be returned immediately after final examination is over. Otherwise penalty will be imposed are as follows:
  • A late fine of Rs.500/- per books.
  • Marks and pass certificate will not be issued to the defaulter.

NEWSPAPER CLIPPINGS

Our library systematically organises newspaper clippings of important information / articles on different subjects. These are issue restricted items. Users can only use them in the library. These cover the following subjects.

  • Career
  • Education
  • Current affairs
  • Miscellaneous etc.

INTERNET

Our library users can use internet both for in-house and remote access to databases. Users can avail this facility free of cost for 1 hour per/user.

E-DELIVERY OF INFORMATION

Our library delivers information of newly arrived journals and magazines. The basic aim of this service is to alert library users about newly published articles. Here only the content pages of journals/magazines are delivered to registered members.
